Operation Christmas Child

This year our class is deciding to participate in a Service Project: Operation Christmas Child. I have done this project before in previous years, and the students really enjoy being able to give a small gift to other kids in need of their similar age.

Here is the link to learn more:
https://www.samaritanspurse.org/what-we-do/operation-christmas-child/

We will be working to fill one shoe box for a boy and girl ages 5-9. Each box will be filled with items/small gifts of toys, school, supplies, hygiene items, etc.

Today students volunteered to bring in items for the shoe box. Some students also volunteered to bring in a donation of money, for the shipping cost of the box and to be able to see where our box goes in the world!

Items are due by next week. Thursday (Nov. 15th) at the latest, so we can pack the boxes and drop them off on Friday (Nov. 16th)

Please contact me if you have any questions!
